search for a word

With the cursor on a word, press the * key to search forwards for the next occurrence, or press # to search backwards.

I have been using the # for a while now but the * is a welcome addition.

I highly recommend that you checkout my .vimrc file. I have several lines in it that make searching in Vim much more efficient.
